During the year I spent doing this portfolio and the book, "Where Rainbows Wait for Rain," the park service had given me a key to unlock any gates where road access was prohibited for park visitors. As I returned the key I asked, "Is there a special area of the part that the rangers know about but visitors will never find?" Juniper Draw with its canyon full of amazing tinajas was the first place they recommended.
